INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
2 sticks of butter (no substitutes)
3 DOVE milk chocolate bars coarsely chopped
1 12 oz. bag of semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 C. of coarsely chopped Macadamia nuts
3 C. all purpose flour
1tsp. ea. of baking powder and baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
DOUBLE CHUNK MACADAMIA
These puppies I came up with due to my undying love of chocolate & macadamias...
My kids' teachers can't get over how awesome these are!
preheat oven to 350*F
In large mixing bowl with electric mixer, beat together first 6 ingredients until well blended...
In a smaller bowl, combine all of last 5 ingredients.
Add dry ingredients to larger bowl, continue stirring by hand until mixture resembles pie crust dough...
(*NOTE:  If mixture is moist and sticky to the touch, continue to add more flour by the Tablespoon after alternately blending until it reaches the right consistency.)
Take a good sized amnt.  (I use a level ice cream scoop)
and roll into ball...
place the balls on ungreased cookie sheet,
and bake for 10 or 11 minutes.
let cookies cool on cookie sheet for 3-5 minutes before removing to cooling racks or foil.
Cover your cooled cookies with plastic wrap, and they'll stay soft, fresh & tasty for days!
