ingredients:
1 small cabbage
2 pkgs. keilbasa
5-6 med. potatoes
5-6 carrots
2 sm. cans tomato soup
onion powder
garlic powder
celery salt
black pepper
KEILBASA STEW
This is a great crock pot time saver for any season
of the year!
I use either Hillshire Farms brand or Butterball turkey
keilbasa, but you can use any keilbasa in this recipe that you'd like.
Core one small cabbage and quarter it,
slice two keilbasas into 1/4" chunks
place into a 4 quart crock pot (or larger).
Peel, rinse & cube 5 or 6 medium potatoes,
peel and slice about 6 carrots and add them
to the crock pot.  Pour in contents of two-
tomato soup cans, and enough water to reach 1 & 1/2" from top of pot.
Add 2 tsp. ea. of Onion powder & Garlic powder.
Also 1/2 tsp. ea. of celery salt & pepper.
You can let this sit in the crock pot on low from
the time you prepare it in the morning, until
the time you come home from work...
The longer it "stews" the better it tastes!
